Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-05
TransPlay has no accounts of its own, and we do not ask for your name, email, or phone number. There is one exception: if you sign in with a Google Account to use All-Pass in the Android apps, we keep only the minimum needed for that link (see “Android All-Pass — Google Account link” below). What follows is every point at which data moves at all.
What we never collect
No names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, location, photo library, or advertising identifiers. There are no ads, and no analytics or tracking SDK is built into the app. We do not build a profile that identifies you.
What stays on your device
Game files, saves, snapshots, play history and app settings live only on your device. Recognizing the text on screen (OCR) also happens entirely on-device. Free Basic translation and Pro's On-device translation both run without internet, and nothing from your screen leaves the device.
What leaves the device — Advanced translation
Only while Pro's Advanced translation is selected, the text recognized on screen and the source/target language are sent to the translation server, which returns the translated lines. The screen image itself is never sent. That text is used to produce the translation and is not retained against your identity. You can switch back to on-device translation at any time in settings.
Subscription checks
Payment is handled by the App Store and Google Play; card details never reach us. Our server verifies the purchase receipt those stores issue in order to confirm an active subscription. For usage limits we store only an irreversible hash (SHA-256) of that purchase identifier.
Android All-Pass — Google Account link
To use All-Pass (one subscription for all 12 TransPlay apps) on Google Play, you sign in with a Google Account. The sign-in is used only to apply All-Pass to the other TransPlay apps signed in to the same account. Our server keeps only an irreversible hash (SHA-256) of your Google Account's unique identifier and the All-Pass purchase linked to it (the app it was bought in, the store's proof of purchase, and the expiry date). Your email address and name are never sent to our server; they stay on the device to show which account the app is signed in to. This data is kept until you delete it. Single-app subscriptions and the iOS apps involve no sign-in.
Deleting account data
In the app: Settings → Subscription · TransPlay apps → “Delete Account Data”. Without the app, sign in with your Google Account on the page below to delete it right away. The hashed account identifier and the linked purchase data are deleted immediately, and no copy is kept. This does not cancel your Google Play subscription — cancel it in Google Play.
Cloud backup
If you turn on save backup, files are stored in your own iCloud or Google account storage. They are not stored on our servers, and we cannot read them.
Device-to-device transfer
Pulling games and saves from another of your devices happens directly over your local Wi-Fi network. Those files do not travel over the internet or through our servers.
Children
This app is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
